The Families and Employers survey is carried out by INED, a public research organization that studies populations in France and abroad. It conducts research on births, deaths, unions, separations, migrations, etc. INED produces a wide range of research surveys, the results of which are widely disseminated and used by journalists, teachers, researchers, companies, public authorities and individuals.

It is conducted under the scientific responsibility of three researchers from INED’s economic demography unit. It was developed in conjunction with a team of researchers and specialists in statistical survey design. The study has a scientific council and a legal referent who ensure that the survey runs smoothly.
