Welcome to the FamEmp Survey Website
The longitudinal survey "Families and Employers" (FamEmp) is a scientific study conducted by the French Institute for Demographic Studies (INED). It looks at how personal and professional lives affect each other.
Two Perspectives: The survey collects data from individuals and the establishments employing them.
- Individuals: 42,000 men and women aged 20-65, residing in France, participated from October 2023 to August 2024.
- Employers: 12,000 establishments with 10 or more employees participate from January to December 2024.
Three Collection Waves:
Scheduled for 2023-24, 2026-27, and 2029-30, allowing the study of the impact of family events and changes in professional situations on life trajectories.
Recognition:
- Approved by the National Council of Statistical Information on December 2, 2021.
- Received the label of public interest and statistical quality, as well as mandatory status on October 5, 2022.
- Received favorable opinion from the National Commission for Informatics and Liberties (CNIL) on September 14, 2023.
